Connect with a Current Member
Coffee chats are a chance to sit down with a current UWEB member for a relaxed, 20–30 minute conversation. They are an informal opportunity to ask questions about the club, the recruitment process, and life at Berkeley before you submit your application.
Come curious. You can ask about anything: which committee might be right for you, what the time commitment looks like, how current members balance UWEB with academics and internships, or what the interview process is like. There are no wrong questions and no evaluation involved.
Coffee chats are available throughout the recruitment period. Sign-ups open on August 28th.

Do I need to be applying to UWEB?
Coffee chats are primarily for prospective applicants during recruitment season, but anyone curious about UWEB is welcome.
How long is a coffee chat?
Typically 20–30 minutes — enough to have a meaningful conversation without taking too much of your time.
Is it in-person or virtual?
We offer both options. You can coordinate the format directly with your coffee chat partner.
What should I prepare?
Nothing formal is required. Just come curious — questions about the club, Berkeley econ, career paths, or anything else are all welcome.
